Igatpuri Highway Private Limited

Igatpuri Highway Private Limited (IHPL) is a 99.5 km operational toll road in the state of Maharashtra. The project operates under a 20-year concession, awarded by NHAI after competitive bidding in 2005-06 for widening the existing two-lane road to a four-lane divided carriageway on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis.

IHPL has designed, engineered and constructed the Project highway and is responsible for toll collection, operation and maintenance of the stretch for the period of concession. The project commenced operations in July 2011 and has been collecting tolls at 2 Toll Plazas for the last 13 years.

The project road traverses through plane / rolling / terrain alignments except for the Kasara Ghat location where it is aligned through hilly terrain. The influence areas include the district borders of Thane/Kalyan, Pune, Ahmednagar and Palghar. Industries along the highway include logistics, industrial pipe manufacturing, stone quarrying, etc. Additionally, the project road is a growing warehousing hub with new warehouses being set up and commissioned near Padgha & Shahpur.
