Simhapuri Expressway Limited

Simhapuri Expressway Limited operates a 183.7 km toll road on National Highway 16 in the state of Andhra Pradesh, linking Nellore to Chilakaluripet. The project stretch operates under a 30-year concession and ends at November 2041, awarded by NHAI after competitive bidding in 2010 for widening the existing four-lane divided carriageway to a six-lane configuration on a Build-Operate-Transfer (Toll) basis.

The project has a remaining concession period of 17.6 years and is currently under operation & maintenance stage. The project commenced operations in Oct'2017 and has been operating at 3 Toll Plazas for the last 7 years. Industries along the project highway include cement, granite, agriculture, ports & shipping, etc. Furthermore, SEL is characterized by the presence of multiple SEZs in the near vicinity.
